Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results)
The incumbent will assist the Public Health Unit in programme coordination, planning, and monitoring including data analysis and evaluation, capacity-building of partners, and advocacy, information and communication on public health and nutrition-related issues.
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Public Health Officer, Zahle, the incumbent will assist with the following tasks:
- Assist with monitoring tasks of indicators in the Lebanon health programme;
- Assist the organization and use of Health Information System (HIS) in order to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions;
- Assist with the referral system between relevant actors;
- Assist with roll out of mass information tools
- Assist with updating and disseminate information materials on public health based on standard practices and policies among partners;
- Assist the Assistant Public Health Officer, Zahle in other duties relevant to service delivery for refugees

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
- Masters-level qualification in public health, nutrition or related field preferred Solid data analysis skills and understanding of Microsoft word, excel and power point
- At least 3 months of relevant experience in progressively responsible functions, preferably with some experience in an international capacity.
- Working knowledge of Arabic essential

- Ability to promote good working relationships among colleagues and supervisors.
- Ability for analytical and creative thinking for rapid solution(s).
