Social Worker

In support of UNHCR’s Unconditional Cash Assistance Program (UCAP), social worker will conduct multi-sectoral vulnerability social assessments at the household-level. Households will be targeted for the social assessments using the targeting eligibility questionnaire for multi-sectoral cash and food programs approved at the Inter-agency level. The social worker will conduct the social assessments based on the pre-identified lists of households as per the bio-index lists upon UNHCR request for possible consideration of households in the UCA program or other referrals to services. The households will be identified by a referral system from UNHCR protection monitoring, protection cases identified at UNHCR registration centre, field visits and referrals received from various stakeholders involved in humanitarian assistance programs. The multi-sectorial assessments will allow the most vulnerable to benefit from the unconditional cash assistance program. In addition, through the protection desk, people with specific needs will be counseled and referred for assistance.
