Cash For Work Officer

Major Responsibilities: Ensure that cash for work placements evaluated through the consultancy results are correctly matched to youth and caregivers selected to participate in the cash for work programme; Ensures that contracts and code of conducts are signed by both parties and correctly stores them; Conducts daily visit on the cash for work sites to verify work conditions,  verify the presence of beneficiary, etc; Ensure attendance sheet and other relevant documentation is properly filled in and processed; Conducts bi-weekly meetings with beneficiaries in the form of interviews or focus group discussion as more appropriate. If necessary the meetings maybe be conducted in cooperation with the Case Worker or CP Officer. Conducts regular meetings with all the municipalities or other entities that are supporting the Cash for Work project; Ensures that payment of beneficiaries is accurately processed; Generate reports on cash for work activities; Produce statistics and reports as and when required; Identify opportunities for program development and additional cash for work opportunities. Other Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs Professional Standards All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies. Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:  Street Children Child Protection Manager Position directly supervises: N/A Indirect Reporting:  N/A Job Requirements: Experience with non-infrastructure improvement projects (environmental promotion, clean up, basic maintenance and repair preferred; Minimum of three years of experience in a related field of work; Experience with participatory methodologies, monitoring and reporting; Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, colleagues and employers; Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision; Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, Access); Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is a must; Staunch advocate of child protection and child rights;
