Administrative & Finance Officer

THE JOB Based in Beirut, under the direct responsibility of Head of Mission and in close collaboration with HI team you will ensure administrative, financial, human resources and logistics management for the mission and its projects with functional links with regional support services coordination team based in Amman.   MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  Ensure the administrative organisation and the operating framework (filing of documents, contract follow-up, etc.) Ensure the administrative management of the human resources (contracts and leaves follow-up,  recruitment process, salaries preparation, respect of conditions of employement) Ensure that local legislation is respected and that a legal framework is established (through contractual        documents, governement formalities, etc.) Ensure the management of financial resources (cash flow, accountancy, financial reporting, elligibility of expenses, etc.) Ensure that financial and institutional frame is respected with HI local partners (support to partner on advance follow-up and eligibility of expenses, etc.) Ensure logistics aspects of the mission (procurement, inventories, vehicle management, transportation, events, etc.) Ensure effective communication and external relations in his field (representation of the organisation, circulation of information with regional office, etc.)   QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED At least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration At least 2 years of experience in administration, finance, human resources and logistics with International Non-Governmental Organisation or related Organisation Good knowledge of financial, grants and budget management Demonstrable team spirit and strong desire to actively contribute to the team’s objectives with a strong orientation to solutions Highly motivated, enthusiastic, committed and responsible with the capacity to promote and share these values within the Organisation Excellent word and data processing skills (Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent command of written and spoken English (French an asset) Excellent communication skills
