Security Supervisor

Minimum required knowledge & experience:   Primary school level   2 - 3 years work experience in similar function   Able to communicate in English verbally and in written   Basic computer skills   Good physical condition   Capacity to manage a team        Standard function description:   Provides security screening of people and/or vehicles, premises   Reports incidents to administration   Monitors passive security   Supervises security guards including writing weekly roster, conducting performance appraisals, organising replacements etc. in a very small to small office   SPECIFIC TASKS:    Supervises security guards    Prepares security guards’ weekly roster    Reports incidents to administration and keeps written records    Conducts check-ups on security guards during shifts, also random at night    Performs duties of security guard which follows:  Visitors: Is positioned near or opposite the entrance to the floor to identify visitors coming/going and direct them to the correct location Checks identification of all visitors before entering the WTTC facility (allows WTTC staff and ICRC interlocutors in) Informs ICRC management and gets the green light before allowing visitors/patients in without identification/documentation  Directs people visiting the WTTC outpatient facility to seats in the corridor, requests them not to wonder around in the ward and to leave once they have finished their consultation Registers all non-WTTC staff in the registration book provided by ICRC  Security: Visually checks the facility when empty at least x 1 every hour Informs the WTTC management immediately of any security concerns or threats Should there be a security incident, a short and concise written security report would be required Keeps watch over the WTTC floor and belongings
