Hygiene Promotion Team Leader

Builds on RI’s existing Hygiene Promotion materials to design a Hygiene Promotion training of trainers. Trains the Hygiene Promotion Assistants on Hygiene Promotion principles. Follows up on the roll out trainings to be conducted by the Hygiene Promotion Assistants in the different program components within the Health and Nutrition Sector. Designs the pre and post training evaluation tests in coordination with the Program Manager to measure the efficiency of the intervention.  All evaluation must be shared with the M&E Department prior to their roll-out.  In addition, all data of trainings (pre/post assessments, attendance sheets, evaluation forms) shared with M&E Department.  Supervises the work of the Hygiene Promotion Assistants as discussed and agreed upon with the Program Manager and follows up on their performance. Follows up on the achievements of the Hygiene Promotion Assistants by collecting their weekly updates from the field. Collects and segregates the field-data of HP Beneficiaries and shares all indicators with the M&E Department.  Makes sure that Hygiene Promotion principles are incorporated into the multi sector program approach being implemented in the field. Conducts field visits to the different program areas to monitor the work of the Hygiene Promotion Assistants. Trains the Hygiene Promotion Assistants on using the Hygiene Promotion awareness posters and brochures to raise awareness on personal and environmental hygiene at the field and community levels. Refers to the Program Manager on any decision making steps or any modifications that need to be taken regarding the implementation process. Suggests and implements creative ideas and techniques to promote for Hygiene awareness within the field and the community. Accompanies the Program Manager for field visits upon needed. Provides progress reports to the Program Manager on a daily and weekly basis. Actively participates in the final report on the Hygiene Promotion intervention within the Health and Nutrition Sector. Directly reports any security / field / office Incidents to the Program Manager. Abides by Relief International Sexual Exploitation & Abuse Policy, and the Drug Free Work Place Statement, and the Child Protection Policy. Other program related tasks as agreed upon with the Program Manager.
