Conducting surveys and assessments to establish baseline data of the community
Empowering communities to address SGBV by assisting in developing and conducting awareness campaigns on causes and contributing factors, ensuring a survivor-centered approach and strengthening existing referral pathways
Monitoring and evaluating awareness-raising sessions and identifying challenges that women and girls are facing in accessing services
Mobilizing women and girls for the establishment of local Women and Girl’s Solidarity Groups, under the supervision of the SGBV Team Leader
Assisting to mobilize community members to identify and address protection risks
Implementing risk mitigation and awareness activities and conducting safety audits.
Participating in the distribution key messages and other awareness materials to specific community groups
Testing developed/ adapted materials for conducting awareness sessions and sensitization appropriate to the Syrian refugees and host Lebanese families context.
Coordinating with RI health, education and hygiene promotion sectors to ensure SGBV prevention and response is adequately addressed across sectors
Conducting referral of SGBV cases based on informed consent of the survivor and utilizing the Inter-Agency Case Referral Form
Participating in weekly coordination meetings with SGBV Project Coordinator and Team Leaders to ensure adherence to standards of care and referral
Providing support for vulnerable women and children (including SGBV survivors), including psychological first aid, information on specialized service providers and referrals to specialized service providers and case management organizations
Ensuring equal participation by women and men, girls and boys in the implementation of the project activities, particularly awareness activities
Following up on cases referred to a specialized SGBV service provider and/or case manager, ensuring privacy and confidentiality, and based on the informed consent of the survivor.
Preparing weekly and monthly field visit reports outlining achievements, needs and problems faced in the implementation of RI activities.
Ensuring safety of survivor and confidentiality of referrals and upholding the principle of informed consent at all times.
Other tasks as assigned by the SGBV Project Coordinator or manager.
