GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Under the line management of the Psychosocial Manager, the Psychosocial Supervisor is responsible for supervising the quality of the psychosocial support provided to vulnerable persons and families affected by the Syrian crisis in the North Governorate and in Bekaa Valley.
Responsibility n°1: ENSURING THE PSYCHOSOCIAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO DVFP STAFFS
Responsibility n°2: ENSURING REGULAR REPORTING TO PARTICIPATE TO THE CAPITALIZATION OF THE PROJECT
Responsibility n°3: ENSURING HI REPRESENTATION AND COORDINATION WITH EXTERNAL ACTORS

RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES
Objective 1:ENSURING THE PSYCHOSOCIAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO DVFP STAFFS
Activities/Main duties:
- Ensuring a regular supervision of the psychologists and psychosocial workers through field visits, case management meetings and files/database follow-up in order to supervise the quality of the psychosocial activities and the respect of the DVFP approach;
- Ensuring regular trainings to the DVFP staffs according to the needs identified by the project or directly by the supervisor;
- Ensuring a regular evaluation of the technical tools and documents used at field level;
- Ensuring the validation and the control of the quality of the psychosocial items purchased in close coordination with the logistic departments and your line manager;
- Collaborating in implementing group activities;
- Collaborating in elaboration of any technical tools or documents;
- Participating to the recruitment of field psychosocial staff through the elaboration of technical tests;
- Participating to project meetings upon request;
- Proposing change, updates and improvements of relevant psychosocial activities according to HI strategy;
- Proposing change, updates and/or implementation of relevant technical tools according to the needs.
Objective 2: ENSURING REGULAR REPORTING TO PARTICIPATE TO THE CAPITALIZATION OF THE PROJECT
Activities/Main duties:
- Ensuring regular reporting on your activities to your line manager upon his/her request;
- Ensuring regular reporting to the DVFP staffs with feedbacks, advices and clear recommendations;
- Ensuring the monthly report (SITREP) to your line manager;
- Ensuring the elaboration of guidelines, mainstreaming documents and protocols;
- Collecting, following and analyzing the datas related to psycho-social activities;
Objective 3: ENSURING HI REPRESENTATION AND COORDINATION WITH EXTERNAL ACTORS
Activities/Main duties:
- Ensuring and participating to briefings of external actors and partners according to the needs and upon your line manager request;
- Participating to external working groups and other meetings gathering relevant stakeholders;
- Collaborating with external partners.
QUALIFICATION/ REQUIREMENTS
Background:
MA Degree in Clinical Psychology;
At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of vulnerability/disability;
At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of Psychology;
At least 1 previous experience in training/capacity building and coaching;
At least 1 previous experience in humanitarian context, preferably in emergency response.
Project management skills would be an asset.
Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic mandatory (oral and written);
Driving license: not mandatory
Computer skills: Proficiency in current office software applications;

Remuneration: according to HI salary grid
Starting date: ASAP
Duration/ Type of contract: Six months contract (renewable)
