Online Media Intern

MARCH Lebanon is seeking an intern to manage the organization’s online media, both on its website and on various social media platforms. Candidates should be proficient in English, very familiar with social networking sites like Twitter and Instagram, and should be hard-working and creative problem-solvers. The intern’s responsibilities would include: -          Posting 10-15 tweets per week on MARCH Lebanon’s Twitter account -          Posting 7 photos per week on MARCH Lebanon’s Instagram account -          Updating MARCH Lebanon’s website in a timely fashion when: any new articles mentioning the organization or its work are released the organization hosts or takes part in any event the organization releases a press release or statement about its activities -          Updating MARCH Lebanon’s Virtual Museum of Censorship with new information on censored works in Lebanon. This will involve creative research and investigative methods to find out which theater, television, radio, book, movie, music, internet, or other works have been banned The intern will work directly with MARCH’s General Coordinator and Project Coordinator on these responsibilities. Candidates will be trained on the back office for MARCH’s websites. This position is open immediately and indefinitely. At this time, MARCH Lebanon is unable to financially compensate its interns.
