Main responsibilities:
Support the identification of beneficiaries in line with the methodology set for the Program under the Project Manager (PM) supervision
Supervise a team of volunteers/enumerators for household assessments
Ensure that the necessary households assessments and phone assessments are held in line with the procedure set up
Ensure that the volunteer teams have a clear daily agenda and list of assessments to be conducted, split in a geographically coherent manner to ensure time and cost efficiency
Ensure that the volunteer teams have the necessary material and equipment before leaving to the field (charged tables, relevant flyers and hotline numbers for information dissemination sessions ect.)
Liaise with the logistic assistance to organize transportation/ensure car and drivers availability
Conduct daily assessment and information dissemination sessions with the team
Ensure quality and consistent data is collected by the volunteer/enumerator team and report any new question/training needs to the Field Officer
Ensure that the Field Officer is updated daily on the assessments that were conducted & the one that were not conducted (with supporting explanation on why those assessments were not conducted)
Ensure that those updates are made in the format agreed upon with the data management assistant (online database)
Ensure that any pending question/missing information for the information dissemination sessions are flagged to the Field Officer
Ensure that CARE’s assets are accounted for every day (tablets for assessments mainly)
Ensure that any issue in the field/with the volunteer team is flagged to the Field Officer
Ensure that names of families in need of referrals are consolidated daily in a confidential manner and given to the Field Officer, spot urgent cases
Support for the preparation and setting of the distribution when relevant
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor Degree, Technical diploma, degree in social work or equivalent experience
Previous experience in relevant positions (case management, social worker, outreach worker, enumerator etc.)
Previous experience in an NGO
Good understanding of humanitarian principles and accountability
Ability to manage a team, set a daily agenda and deal with unexpected changes
Familiarity with the Lebanese humanitarian context and the Syrian crisis
Knowledge and facility with standard office computer systems and software
