Field Officer - Collective Site Management And Coordination

General objective Under the direct supervision of the CSMC Team Leader, the CSMC Field Officer is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of the activities but especially the objectives linked to CSMC, community mobilization, individual case referral, awareness session. He/she directly implements the software activities (update census, information sharing, build trustful relation with the community, refer individual/collective cases and follow up on them, community mobilization, awareness session, gather information about all other actors intervene in the site…) with the help of beneficiaries, Self Management Committees, local partner, daily workers or volunteers.   Responsibilities and tasks   Activities implementation -          Implement all CSMC program activities which mainly consists in: Update the census; Build trustful relation with the community through the Self Management Committee; Report and refer individual/collective cases and ensure proper follow; Organize and support community mobilization activities and awareness session; Gather and share information about all other actors intervening in the site. -          Weekly check up of the collective site facilities with the Self Management Committeeand refer for maintenance if needed; -          Follow the security rules to ensure security on-site; -          Provide technical guidance and follow up to SMC, Local partner and volunteers.   Communication & Follow up -        Daily presense on the differents collective sites and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information; -        Daily communication with the Self Management Committee for follow up and referrals; -        Periodical and planned presence during the Self Management Committee meetings for monitoring and follow up; -        Identificate and refer special cases which need individual/collective attention and follow their progress with the different stakholders.   Reporting -       Report orally on the progress of CSMC activities on a daily and weekly basis; -       Report immediately any delay, problem or other relevant information to the CSMC Team Leader.   The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs. QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory requirements Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic Education degree: On-site training in CSMC or social sciences Work experience: 1 year experience in a similar position (NGOs/private companies) in CSMC or Community mobilization Computer skills: Basic MS Office in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Other: -          Excellent communication skills with beneficiaries -          Valid driving licence (2 years minimum) -          Basic knowledge in community mobilization and protection -          Good knowledge of South Governorate, willing to travel a lot locally Assets Other  knowledge: -       Experience in working with refugees; -       Experience in community-based activities programming, preferably in an emergency context.   Interest: -       Strong motivation to help people in needs; -       Understanding of the political situation in the area.   Transversal skills: -       Well organized; -       Conflict resolution and diplomacy experience; -       Ability to take initiative to deal with difficulties encountered in daily work; -       Ability to adapt or change priorities according to the changing situation within a mission or the organization itself; -       Autonomy, neutrality, hard worker; -       Able to manage stress and pressure.
