1 Summary of the post . Transport persons and goods as requested by MSF. Is responsible for the security of his passengers. Keep the vehicle assigned to him clean and roadworthy. Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment. Basic mechanical skills. At least 1 years of work experience as a driver with safe driving record.. Should be flexible and able to adapt to changes on short notice 3 Main Activities . The correct loading and unloading of the vehicle considering the maximumloading capacity, proper distribution and securing of the load. The decision whether or not to attempt to cross a difficult section of theroad, to continue after a technical defect has been detected or to delay thetravel. Correctly filling in and signing of the discharge of responsibility formby all non MSF passengers. The safe parking any time possible in an MSF compound, of the vehicle atnight, during breaks and when it is not used. Immediately notify the head of the project and the local authorities ofany accident. Immediately notify the head of the project or the logistician of anytechnical failure or need for maintenance of the vehicle. When ordered by authorised MSF staff to perform related tasks like makingpurchases, mail delivery etc....
