Case Management Officer - Cp Coaching Program

The CP Case Management (CM) Officer is responsible for supporting the CP CM Manager and coordinating certain aspects of the Inter-agency CP Case Management Coaching Program. The CP Case Management Officer will be responsible for managing and delivering inter-agency trainings to frontline staff and refugees on a variety of child protection and case management topics in all regions of Lebanon.   The CP CM Officer will also supervisor a team of Case Management Trainers.  The CM Officer ensures regular documentation of the CP CM Coaching Program, helps to identify lessons learned, and contributes to the development of technical tools and guidance for staff.  The CM officer works in close collaboration with multiple organizations providing CP case management services as well as the CPiEWG. Position objectives: Coordinate and deliver technically sound child protection training and coaching sessions for frontline staff and refugees in all five regions of Lebanon Contribute to the development of training plans, technical tools and guidance for the CM Coaching Program Major Responsibilities: CM Coaching Program Contribute to development  and adaptation of trainings on safe identification and referral and other child protection topics for frontliners and refugee volunteers Build relationships with and coordinate with UNHCR and multiple partner agencies across five governorates to mobilize participants  for trainings and support groups Complete all logistical preparations for ROV and frontliner related trainings and coaching sessions and ensure events are delivered in a timely manner according to the coaching program schedule Deliver trainings and coaching sessions to ROVs with the support of two CP trainers and ensure the adherence to technical guidance and training plans Supervise team of CM trainers and build their capacity to deliver trainings and assist in coaching sessions Ensure all ROVs receive ongoing coaching and mentorship and support them to adhere to technical guidance, child protection principles and humanitarian values Document all trainings and coaching sessions, identifying best practices and disseminating technical material Support the CP CM Manager in overall planning for the coaching program, development of technical tools for caseworkers, and other aspects of case management capacity building Participate in trainings on child protection case management and contribute to peer-to-peer groups for caseworkers and social workers Grant Monitoring & Reporting Develop weekly and monthly plan for the CM trainers Revise and compile weekly/ monthly reports on inter-agency trainings and coaching events Track individual participants in training databases and ensure data entered is accurate and up-to-date Assist with all relevant financial documentation is completed accurately as required by IRC finance policy. Coordination & Representation Facilitate inter-agency collaboration and coordination as part of the CP CM Coaching Program Liaise and collaborate with other CP actors when required Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other IRC sector staff. Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:  CP CM Manager Position directly supervises:  CM Trainers Indirect Reporting: n/a Other Internal and/or external contacts: Internal: IRC case management teams, Supply Chain and Finance External:  UNHCR field offices and CM partners Job Requirements: Experience in working with children and social work experience mandatory Experience supervising staff preferred Training and coaching experience mandatory Experience in working in emergencies and with refugees preferable Three  years of relevant work experience in the area of child protection including case management Knowledge and understanding of CP Minimum Standards, UNCRC and CPiE Ability to develop partnerships, network and attend coordination meeting Strong diplomacy and communication skills Written and Oral Fluency in Arabic and English mandatory Knowledge of case management database / documentation practices preferred Strong humanitarian values, including respect, non-discrimination and do no harm Proficient in Word and excel Willingness to work long hours and travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays Working Environment:  This position requires frequent travel to all regions of Lebanon (Akkar, Tripoli, Bekaa, South), including some overnight stays and trips to the field.  Candidates must be able to balance frequent “field work” with responsibilities in the office, including responding to emails, coordinating with Supply Chain and Finance, and completing reporting.
