Math Teacher

The Math teacher will work on building a firm foundation for refugee students to help them get integrated into Lebanese schools through an Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) that focuses on the students learning fundamentals in Math. Key Responsibilities Teach basic academic skills, including algebra, calculations, and geometry. Lead students through creative play and hands-on activities. Plan lessons according to ALP curriculum and assess students, tailoring their lessons according to the abilities of the children in the classroom. Coordinate with other teachers and school principal. Conduct regular teachers’ and parents’ meetings. Applying JRS policies during class time. Relevant Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience. Must be capable of teaching Math in Arabic and in English. Experience in working with refugees is a plus.
