Education Field Coordinator

The Education Coordinator will: Assist in the development and management of all matters related to AVSI/UNICEF Education program Liaise with local Education partners and government representatives as necessary Monitor education activities in schools and informal settlements regularly Assist in the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteer and local staff; mobilize and monitor developed team Assist Program Manager in the development and/or procurement of curriculum and supplies required for program activities Continually assess and adjust program design and interventions with Program Manager in order to address ongoing needs of the population Perform any other relevant duties as required     Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to social sciences, humanities, development studies with at least 7 year of experience OR a Master Degree in any other major with at least 5 years of experience Excellent planning and organizational skills At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar role in the development and humanitarian sector with an international NGO working with and through partners Computer skills and report writing experience Good knowledge of school situation and learning problems of Syrians refugees children in the targeted villages Knowledge of INEE and commitment to humanitarian principles. Networking and team building skills will be required. Good knowledge of English and/or French language – spoken and written skills. Mother tongue Arabic speaker
