The Danish Refugee Council has worked in Lebanon since September 2004, and the programs have followed the country’s needs and progress. The main focus of today’s efforts in Lebanon is to help the hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, who have fled across the border to find protection from the conflict in their homeland. DRC is simultaneously maintaining the efforts toward the vulnerable groups of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. More than 200.000 Syrian refugees have received assitance from the Danish Refugee Council since the beginning of the crisis. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job Implementation of shelter related assessments and site identification, working within a team of highly motivated people and an organization dedicated to provide assistance to Syrian refugees. The Tripoli province office is based in Qualamoun. DRC is working alongside various partners including the UNHCR. Duties To do sketch of the buildings, apartments on site and drawings on AutoCAD. To prepare BOQ of rehabilitations works needed in coordination with his/her supervisor. To follow the works implemented by contractors, including weekly site visit (masonry works, carpentry works, plumbing works…) To write minute of weekly site visit and provide detailed guidance to the contractors. To measure quantities implemented in order to validate the contractors invoices with his/her supervisor.   About you To be successful in this role you must have: Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Excellent interpersonal and reporting skills  Good communication and organizational skills        Commitment to the values, vision and mission of DRC      Self-motivated and good team spirit Ability to speak, read and write Arabic (Native Arabic speaker) and English  We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs.
