Store Keeper - Marjayoun

Employer: CISP - Comitato Internazionale Per Lo Sviluppo Dei Popoli Deadline for applications: Friday, October 17th, 2014 Contract:  Full time position Location: Marjaayoun Working area: South Lebanon JOB DESCRIPTION CISP is active in South Lebanon implementing a number of project funded by different Donors and targeting Syrian Refugees. Among other activities, distribution of a different kind of items is part of the working plan of each project. CISP intends to recruit a Storekeeper that will be charged of the correct management of the system of storehouses in Marjaayoun. He/She will be responsible of the storage and movements of the goods in line with CISP policies and in particular he/she will: Manage CISP store in Marjayoun. Ensure a coherent administrative follow up of all the stores in Marjayoun according to CISP policy; Work in close coordination with logisticians and other staff implicated with distributions; Report regularly to Project Coordinators; Interact with suppliers to coordinate at best deliveries at storehouses; Accepts goods (with or without) reserve verifying correspondence of specifications and quantities and forwards documents of delivery to line Project Coordinator and Administration; Keep in perfect order all registration of movements updating promptly the stock cards at each download and upload of goods; Keep in perfect order the archive of all documents forwarding quarterly both reports and supporting documents to Administration; Execute the requisition orders sent by the line Project Coordinator or, in his/her absence, other staff deputed by him/her (i.e.: Logistician); Manage and coordinate unskilled workers for handling of goods when necessary, calling them on duty when necessary and after having had approval from Project Coordinator; Make a complete verification and stock reports at the end of each quarter (consumption, stock movements, stocks); Ensure the security of the goods and the persons inside the warehouse monitoring handling; Ensure equipment is in good working condition and report faults. Ensure that the stores are organized, clean and ready for logistic audits; The CISP Store keeper will be working closely with CISP Project Coordinators and he/she will receive a training regarding the Store Management System in place in CISP.  THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in English and Arabic – minimum High School Level Good Computer skills (Office Word, Excel) Working experience in similar position or with logistics background is preferable. Technical background is preferable Willingness and ability to be flexible Be rigorous, precise, calm and polite Excellent inter personnel skills and team spirit. Valid driving license Residence in Marjayoun District CISP offer 3 months contract (renewable) starting as soon as possible, and not later than 17th October 2014, with 1 month probation period.
