Technical Expert/consultant

Terms of Reference   Technical Expert/Consultant     THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY:   World Vision Lebanon is looking for a short-term professional expert with a strong background and experience in providing leadership skills training.  The consultant’s main role will be to plan for the training and deliver it for World Vision staff and partner.   REQUIRED TASKS:   Overall The Consultant will lead the training by providing a detailed plan, and suggesting experts in the field of Leadership skills to cover needed training material. The training shall focus on the following topics:   1. To re-discover, analyze and re-practice main Management tools and skills. 2. To agree on a common ground regarding management, leadership and management leadership concept. 3. To analyze present management leadership practices. 4. To practice main management leadership tools and skills.   Specific Required Tasks   1. Training and facilitation of all the workshop sessions, 2. Developing the workshop agenda, 3. Developing the training handouts and reading documents, 4. Documenting and reporting the experience,   CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:   The Consultant should have the following competencies and experiences: -          Significant technical experience in Leadership Skills. -          Advanced degree in relevant education field. -          Demonstrated knowledge on project cycle management and log frame approach. -          Familiar with civil society and NGO engagement.   -          Good analytical and critical thinking. -          Good reporting skills.   DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY:     The consultant will provide services for WVL as needed during the period from September 24th 2014 until September 29th, 2015.       Task Timeline Provide 3 day training for 15 member September 24nd 2014 Submit one final report for WV upon the end of trainings emphasizing on challenges and possible solutions.   September 29th 2014
