This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.DRC is inviting local candidates to apply for the position of Distribution Officer, to support its activities.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dkAbout the job: The Distribution Officer has the overall responsibility for following up with DRC local partners on the distribution activities. Responsibilities• Follow up on partners contracts, budgets and financial reports in coordination with the Emergency Response Manager. • Follow up on the activities related to the newcomer program implemented by partners; namely the provision of non-food assistance distribution. • Capacity building of DRC partner’s distribution team. • Coordinate with the partners to start an information/protection desk at every distribution center.• Make sure that the feedback mechanism is well established on the distribution sites and the beneficiaries know how to use it.• Conduct field visits and ensure respect of SOPs and distribution guidelines. • Support partners in identifying gaps and issues and set action plans/ measures to address them. • Follow up on programmatic complaints addressed by beneficiaries and set action plan with local partners to address them. • Provide relevant input for daily, weekly and monthly reports• Prepare evaluation reports • Fulfill any other duties requested and/or needed by the Line Manager About youTo be successful in this role you must have a University degree, preferably related to social work Ideally you will also have;• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience• NGO experience• Experience in emergency work• Capacity building skills We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 Month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.
