Laboratory Aid At The Water Laboratory At Dahr Bachek Governmental Hospital

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT The applicant will work within the laboratory team of the laboratory at Dahr Bachek Governmental Hospital   2. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT Accountability (key results that will be achieved) -          Maintains readiness of laboratory equipment and material for reception and testing water samples -          Maintains updated and cleaned the water database on timely manner -          Respects the rules of the hospital -          Respects the confidentiality of the results   Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results) -          Will receive, register and label samples -          Will prepare media -          Will furnish work of washing room -          Will prepare glass bottles for water sampling -          Will clean and disinfect lab benches -          Will update the water database on timely manner -          Will assist the Laboratory technician in water testing -          Will perform other duties as required   3 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, which illustrate behaviours that are essential to achieving deliverables described above, and that are critical to successful performance. -          Managing performance -          Managing resources -          Analytical thinking -          Technological awareness -          Planning -          Change Capability and Adaptability   4. ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position. -          Holding Lebanese Nationality -          Having a TS in laboratory sciences or medical laboratory -          Manipulating easily Personal Computer and Microsoft office (Word, Excell, Outlook)   5. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES.  Describe any experience or knowledge that would be an asset, such as:  other training, additional languages, etc -          Having experience in working in laboratory -          Comfortable in English
