Projects Assistant : To Provide Administrative Support To The Eu Project Team.

Context and environment:   Since October 2013, the British Council Lebanon has been delivering a project in partnership with the EU Delegation titled ‘Accessing Education: Language Integration for Syrian Refugee Children’.  The post is one of a team of four including Project Manager and two senior trainers.     Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties: Manage logistics for all three phases of the project; includes coordinating arrangements for teacher training courses and accelerated learning programmes, monitoring and evaluation related procedures, other events/activities as determined by the Project Manager and partners.   Action, monitor and record all financial procedures, including those related to vendors and payments, in strict compliance with EU and British Council accounting and reporting requirements.   Filing of project documents in accordance with EU auditing processes and standards.   Provide administrative support to the Project Manager on tasks including, but not limited to, review of project design and project plan, coordination of project delivery, resources management, internal and external communications, contract reporting.
