General duties and responsabilities:
Support INTERSOS staff to improve the quality of specialized services provided for GBV survivors and individual at risk in the different CAFS;
Ensure a correct individual psychological support for GBV survivors in all INTERSOS CAFS.
Duties and Responsabilities
Assess the needs of the targeted beneficiaries in each center and design, in collaboration with the staff, a package of PSS activities for the beneficiaries of INTERSOS centre;
Support INTERSOS staff to improve the quality of specialized services provided (specialized psychological services, group therapy, individual counseling, basic Sexual Reproductive Health services) for GBV survivors and individual at risk in the different CAFS;
Design activities with psychological purposes for vulnerable children, youth, women at risk and men attending INTERSOS CAFS in collaboration with the PSS coordinator;
Support INTERSOS social workers in organizing and conducting support groups for individual at risk in each center, in straight collaboration with the FAC and the PSS Coordinator;
Works directly with beneficiaries in INTERSOS centers ensuring on a weekly basis individual psychological support for GBV survivors;
Monitor the activities (awareness and support groups), within the centers and outside, conducted by the social workers, educator and the community mobilizers;
Ensure the self-care program for all INTERSOS case workers in Mount Lebanon;
Report to the FAC and the Program Manager any problems and/or training needs identified during the monitoring of social workers and case workers activities;
Produce and maintain in an accurate way a weekly report of the activities conducted;
Informs the Program Manager about any difficulty met in INTERSOS activities implementation;
Be available to train on psychological support and first aid INTERSOS staff when requested;
Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or the PM.
Requirements:
- Being flexible and able to work in a multicultural environment and in a team
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills
- Honest, hard working and a self-motivated person
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic (written and spoken)
- Driving license is required
- Ability to move on a daily basis in INTERSOS centers in Mount Lebanon (Aley, Chouf and Baabda districts)
- Previous experience with INGOs is preferable
