Wash Officer

WASH Officer Lebanese Relief Council (LRC) is responding to urgent needs of refugees and host communities through projects that revolve around WASH implementations, with a strong focus on collaboration with governmental institutions, stakeholders, local and international partners to reach a respected and sustainable consensus within the community.   Role and responsibilities: -          Participate in the project planning , implementation plan and reviews -          Conduct technical surveys -          Lead of the analysis of data and information gathered from surveys assessment data -          Prepare BoQs for WASH facilities  -          Develop written guidelines on WASH standards for LRC’s program. -          Insure the effective implementation of the WASH activities at site level -          Train the team involved in wash activities. -          Supervise the progress of the construction activities -          Ensure the proper handling and use of construction materials on site -          Produce weekly progress report on the construction activities and contract status -          Prepare documents for final handover and closure of project. -          Provide technical WASH inputs of new WASH project designs.   Academic Qualifications: -          Masters/Bachelor degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering   Skills and Experience: -          NGO working experience desirable -          Knowledge of international and national WASH standards -          Reliability, flexibility -          Good communication skills, ability to listen -          High Motivation for challenging and complex task and good common sense -          Strong skills in communication, mediation and cooperation -          Ability to cope with difficult security context. -          To be able to work as part of a team and participate in all activities of LRC.
