The Public Health Reporting Assistant is responsible for collecting and entering data from the field and producing reports in a timely manner. He/She will work closely with the reporting assistants on the field and the central team to ensure appropriate reporting of health activities.
Assist in creating and modifying data collection tools for use at central and SDC levels
Collect data from the regions on a weekly basis
Input data (beneficiary, drug consumption, morbidity, etc.) into excel sheets or other software
Produce reports on utilization of services at SDCs, morbidities, and other areas of concern on a weekly basis
Maintain updated files in hard and soft copies for supported SDCs
Work closely with field team to gather and disseminate information and documents as required
Ensure all health activities are well documented
Work closely with implementing partners to ensure timely reporting of their activities at SDCs
Support in training SDC staff on data collection tools or health information system
Provide support to monitoring and evaluation components of the programme
Perform any other duties as required
Competencies and Skills
At least 3 years experience in a health related field
Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience and capacity in data collection and analysis
Previous experience in drafting reports
Strong ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate between multiple tasks
Strong organization and communication skills, capable of working well under pressure
Experience with international organizations preferred
Fluent in English and Arabic (excellent in writing and speaking)
