POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT The applicant will work within the CD department, MOH 2. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT Accountability (key results that will be achieved) -          To follow up the daily implementation of the components of the IFS project including the updating of the training module, and liaising with the implementing partners of the related training activities with focus on the CD response Responsibility (process and functions undertaken to achieve results) -          To conduct field work as requested by the Head of the CD department -          To liaise with the Epidemiological Surveillance Program at the MOH for the training and monitoring the implementation of the activities related to EWARS and response in the field -          Support the Head of the CD department in finalizing the IEC material related to CD response -          Assist in needs assessment  activities -          Submit progress reports compiling the process, outcome and results analysis -          To perform any other duties requested by the Head of the CD department   3 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, which illustrate behaviours that are essential to achieving deliverables described above, and that are critical to successful performance. -          Managing performance -          Managing resources -          Analytical thinking -          Technological awareness -          Planning -          Change Capability and Adaptability   4. ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position. -          Holding Lebanese Nationality -          Having a BS in public health, health management. Epidemiology is preferable -          At least 2 years of experience in the field of PH -          Excellent coordination and analytical skills 5. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES.  Describe any experience or knowledge that would be an asset, such as:  other training, additional languages, etc -Computer proficiency: Excellent computer skills and ability to manage large database. -Languages: Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic. French Language is an asset
