DRC is committed to basic humanitarian principles; including impartiality and neutrality, and offers the highest standards of accountability to the people it serves.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobUnder the overall supervision of the CSMC (Collective Site Management and Coordination) Project Manager in South, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of all DRC'soperations in collective settlements located in his/her area of responsibility. Duties• Support Committees through trainings, awareness raising sessions and workshops according to the needs identified• Design communication materials to ensure the effective dissemination of key messages targeting both the refugees and the host community• Promote community mobilisation and participation in all aspects related to living in collective sites• Represent DRC in giving verbal and written warning in case of breach of Collective Centre Code of Conduct (CoC). Engage DRC management and other relevant stakeholders (UNHCR, Municipality, etc) to manage the eviction of a resident from the Collective Centre in case of need.• Organise and direct surveys and data collection within the Collective Centers as directed• Report rehabilitation and maintenance needs to the DRC shelter team• Attend all meetings with CSMC Programme Manager and other stakeholder related to Collective Centre management• Maintain and update a data base of Collective center residents disaggregated by household members and including relevant profil information (CCTM and residents database)• Supervise and support your dedicated CSMC team (assistant and partner field staff) and provide leadership• Prepare monthly planning and reports• Ensure that all logistical and support arrangement are in place for successful daily operations About youTo be successful in this role you must havea) Completed degree from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law;b) 1 year of experience in the field of humanitarian interventions in emergency and post-crisis environments, humanitarian assistance, human rights; c) demonstrated expertise in community mobilization and/or coordination and information management; c) experience in liaising with governmental authorities, other national/international institutions d) demonstrates good knowledge of UN and NGO mandates and programmes in the humanitarian responses, refugees, post conflict construction and development; e) Experience of work in Lebanon e) Previous experience in CCCM an advantagef) Fluent in Arabic and English We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work asap and be willing and able to work in South.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
