DOT transforms and supports young women and men, as they become leaders of economic and education change in their societies.   DOT is launching its education program Teach Up! (TU!), and to support it’s launch, DOT Lebanon is seeking to hire Teacher Facilitators.   Position Description: As a Teacher Facilitator, you will work to support the launch and Implementation of the DOT TU! program in Lebanon through proactive and targeted collaboration with the teachers and school administrators of 2 public schools. You will work on the DOT Lebanon country team and take your direction from the Area Manager.   Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include: Assess the school infrastructure, its ICT environment and personnel Recognizes, acknowledges and supports teachers and school administrators through the creation of student centered innovative projects Ability to support teachers by creating digital classroom projects that students must work through to demonstrate their understanding of a subject Coach teachers and school administrators to practice appropriate integration of technology in classroom presentations, to support individual student learning (in the lab), in personal professional development, and in project and/or classroom management Regularly conducts workshops for teachers and school administrators on new technology tools Demonstrates an awareness of a variety of technology and subject-specific tools and applications Regularly uses technology to improve personal subject matter and pedagogical knowledge Able to use technology and subject-specific tools in a variety of problem-based and project-based applications Effectively identifies, collects, and analyzes relevant data, lessons learned, observation to form conclusions by working closely with the DOT monitoring team Upload on the DOT intranet knowledge and resources, best practices and actively engage in utilizing the information on the shared intranet Undertake other duties assigned by the Area Manager and Program Manager.   Position Qualification & Skills Requirements: r  Minimum of undergraduate degree in Education r  Minimum 6 months’ classroom experience r  Able to use word processing, spread sheet, presentation and other productivity software r  Good communications and writing skills in Arabic and English, Communicates clearly and concisely in writing, and delivers clear and convincing spoken messages r  Presents effectively to big groups r  Acknowledged as good listener, Considers opinions of others even when he or she disagrees r  Able to promote calm dialogue and cooperation r  Able to overcome disagreements, manage conflict collaboratively and build consensus r  The ideal candidate will be a proactive and efficient multi-tasker. This candidate will like to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment. He/ She will have excellent writing skills, creative, committed.   NB: 1. Preference candidates with car 2.
