We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Reporting Officer for the DRC Beirut Office.
Who are we?
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.
Duties
Reporting:
Developing and rolling out internal and external reporting tools for DRC Lebanon
Training reporting staff and programme staff on reporting guidelines and tools– clear flowcharts prepared and disseminated
Collecting and collating information from field teams, support teams and management on ongoing activities in each project/thematic area
Quality control, finalising and editing of reports to be submitted to donors
Ensuring that internal and external reporting deadlines are respected
Information management:
Coordinating with the Database Coordinator to ensure relevant data is being captured by field teams.
Extracting information and responding to ad-hoc donor requests for information.
Cross check data with other programme staff to ensure that reporting generated accurately reflects programme activity
Grants Management:
Focal point for Grants Management System updates
Lead/follow-up the roll-out of results trackers in all areas with Head of Emergency.
Proposal preparation processes – prepare flowcharts and training on proposal development
Supporting proposal drafting as requested by Head of Grants and Communications
About you
You have to be
Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
Fluent English and Arabic
Have the ability to multi-task and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines
Identify priority activities and assignments; adjust priorities as required
Holding a university degree with advanced training/courses either in social sciences, international relations, journalism, communications, or other related field;
Three-five years of relevant professional experience
Extensive experience in reporting

Basic Salary: 1550 USD
