Community Health Worker

Scope of responsibility: Under the responsibility of the health promoter supervisor -       Within the scope of the NCD (Non communicable disease) programme, track the NCD defaulter patients to determine how many are still in Tripoli and surrounding districts and reasons for dropping out of the programme -       If needed, carry out interface-activities between the health structure supported by MSF and the population, in accordance with the MSF health activities.   Activities: In the community: -       Tracking defaulters of the NCD program in MSF clinic: find out if they are still in Tripoli and surrounding districts, and reason for dropping-out -       Collaborating with the SRH (sexual and reproductive health) team to trace PNC (pre natal care) patients. -       Deliver health related, information to the community, by using MSF standard health promotion tools and according to the message discussed with supervisor. -       Show flexibility towards other requested activities from supervisor, and in collaboration with the health promotion and medical team. In the MSF Clinic: -       According to the program and its context, can deliver information in the clinic (regarding hygiene, diseases and prevention) using MSF standard health promotion tools and interaction with people. Reporting -       Reports to supervisor the requested information in a weekly or monthly basis. -       Collaborates with the monthly health promotion report
