The required tasks and duties of midwives in the primary health care Center Comply with the professional practice standards for midwives Maintain good team work Follow up with pregnant women at the center to avoid complications Prepare pregnant women for birth through training exercises and educate women on personal hygiene Regulate fertility and birth spacing Provide counselling on maternal care and family planning Conduct periodic clinical examinations to prevent breast cancer Conduct screening for STIs and Pap smear tests Prevent contamination through cleaning material and sterilization of the medical equipment at the center. Organize and keep health files for pregnant women and complete basic health information Conduct health education and awareness sessions with regards to reproductive health and its services in the Center and community outreach. Educate mothers about the importance of breastfeeding and how to take care of their children with a focus on the theme of childhood immunization   Ensure the availability of supplies and equipment needed for the obstetrics and gynecology clinic Follow-up with home visits as needed Perform any additional tasks as directed by the Director of the Primary Health care Center.     المهام والواجبات الرئيسية للقابلة القانونية في مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية   الإلتزام بمعايير الرعاية والممارسة المهنية العمل بروحية الفريق متابعة الحوامل في المركز لتجنب مضاعفات الحمل التحضير للولادة من خلال تدريب الحامل على التمارين الخاصة إضافة إلى العناية بالنظافة الشخصية تنظيم الخصوبة والمباعدة بين الولادات توفير المشورة في مجال رعاية الأم وتنظيم الأسرة إجراء الفحوصات السريرية الدورية للوقاية من سرطان الثدي إجراء فحوصات المسحة المهبلية (Pap smear) العمل على منع إنتشار العدوى من خلال تأمين النظافة العامّة في المركز شاملاً ذلك تعقيم المعدات الطبية العناية بالملفات الصحية للحوامل واستكمال المعلومات الصحية الأساسية التوعية والتثقيف الصحي حول كل ما يتصل بالصحة الإنجابية وخدماتها داخل وخارج المركز إرشاد الأم حول  اهمية الرضاعة الطبيعية وكيفية العناية بطفلها مع التركيز على موضوع تحصين الأطفال التاكد من توفر اللوازم والمعدات الخاصة بالعيادة النسائية المتابعة المنزلية حيث تدعو الحاجة القيام بأي مهام إضافية وفق توجيهات مدير المركز
