Senior Protections Assistant

Tasks of the senior protection assistant: Supervise and support a team of 4 protection assistants in their activities in the field, as well as in reporting and administrative matters. Assist with the implementation and oversight of select protection activities conducted by the protection assistants (including awareness sessions regarding protection issues, case management, counseling/psycho-social support) Identify and recommend on appropriate follow up for vulnerable or otherwise special cases (such as SGBV survivors and child protection issues). Follow the progress of the cases managed and followed by the protection assistants, report towards referring organization where necessary. Support and report to the protection officer and project manager in coordination and management of protection activities of the project. Serve as focal point and liaise with partner organizations where necessary Reporting Maintain a data base of all relevant information Ensure project documents are properly filed and kept secure Produce weekly/daily progress reports on the protection activities, and beneficiary participation as required Data Management and synthesis for weekly and monthly reports   Qualifications and experience required: -       Relevant professional experience, in-depth knowledge of SGBV and CP issues and good practices. -       University degree in social work or related field -       Fluent in Arabic and working knowledge of English. * PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON FUNDING
