PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Human Resources Department is a sub-department within the Operations department and is committed to implementing and maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and integrity in the HR services, namely; HR Administration, Policy Implementation, Recruitment, Selection and Placement & Organizational Development, Capacity Building and Career Development for Mercy Corps in Lebanon.  GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Assistant is mainly tasked with providing the HR team with administrative support and maintaining the personnel files and keeping the Applicant database up to date and according to MC International standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintaining & updating applicants/HR database Maintaining the personnel & job filing up to MC International standards Collecting the timesheets on timely manner Posting vacancies and downloading CV(s)  for junior position Other HR Administrative tasks as assigned to include: collect signatures on internal HR documents; photo-copy documents, update additional databases and scheduling. Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission. Other duties as assigned ACCOUNTABILITY REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Human Resources Officer-Recruitment and Learning & Development WORKS DIRECTLY WITH: Operations, Program & Finance Teams KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Well organized and detail oriented Proficient in MS office
