Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:
To provide administrative and project support for our Education Programmes
Responsible for event administraton including pre-event preparation and post-event evaluation and follow-up.
Communicating project ogistics to internal and external partners and stakeholders
Attend programme/project events and be responsible for follow-up as required
Perform tasks with efficiency and speed, meeting agreed deadlines and adhering to British Council standards, to the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct desk research as and when required.
Supported by the Education Programme Manager. Ensuring Equal Opportunities & Diversity elements are present in all projects from conceptualisation to delivery,
To handle all enquiries made by schools and other partners (face to face, telephone and email) within British Council enquiry handling standards
Provide all administrative support to schools and other partners.
Prepare meetings’ agendas and minutes taking.
Liaise with schools and partners on programme timeline and follow up
Organise schools’ briefing sessions as required
Ensure regular communication and follow up with UK and regional teams.
To provide key financial support in line with British Council financial standards
Closely liaising with the finance team on vendors and payments to ensure accuracy and timely processing in line with British Council corporate standards.
Setting up vendors on our SAP finance system in consultation with Education Programme Manager.
Issuing payments as agreed with Education Programme Manager in compliance with British Council financial standards.
To directly manage small locally planned projects
Closely liaising with Education Programme Manager on the project brief and deliverables.
Reporting to Education Programme Manager on key milestones and where risks are emerging in the project.
Managing project budget and reporting to Education Programme Manager actual and anticipated expenditure.
Supporting the delivery and coordination work of the agreed British Council Lebanon media and marketing strategy by carrying out agreed tasks.
