Field Social Worker - North Bekaa (2 Vacancies)

Within the framework of the initiatives promoted in North Bekaa to support the resilience, well‐being and education of children affected by Syrian crisis through community based, structured activities conducted in a safe, child friendly and stimulating environment, funded by UNICEF, TdH-It is looking for 2 Social Workersto join our team in order to support the project activities carried out.   Main tasks and responsibilities: Each Social Worker will be in charge of coordinating the implementation of outreach activities in each of the areas covered by the project Plan and organize assessment of needs and outreach activities in collaboration with Project Manager(PM) and Educational expert (EE) Organize regular awareness and information activities in collaboration with specialized NGOs Refer beneficiaries in need of special care to specialized NGOs according to predefined referral pathways Provide necessary technical support and documentation to outreach team (Logistician and Health Workers) in collaboration with PM and EE Perform all organizational and administrative work related to outreach team, including regular reporting to EE and PM Organize regular meetings with Animators and Volunteers, teachers, Health workers, PM, Health Officer (HO) PM and EEto share lessons learned and exchange experiences Ensure proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) Monitor protection risks and needs and Identifying Protection cases Establishing and maintaining a weekly and monthly work plan which will include monitoring visits to the schools activities on a weekly basis Write weekly and monthly reports Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the project team Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Protection officer Experience and requirements Experience required three (3) years minimum Education degree: Bachelor or University Degree in  social work, sociology, or relevant field Experience in working with children mandatory Experience in working with children in emergency preferable Field work experience Mandatory Team management experience mandatory Three years of relevant work experience in the area of child protection preferably including case management and psychosocial activities Experience in working in NGO preferable Fluency in Arabic mandatory and conversation and written English an advantage Knowledge of child protection standards Proficient in Word and excel
