MSI currently employs 800 development experts in the fields of public sector management, monitoring and evaluation, governance and anti-corruption.  For more information on MSI, please visit our website at www.msiworldwide.com.  Project Summary: MSI is currently seeking personnel with experience in conflict and stabilization for anticipated work under Support Which Implements Fast Transition IV (SWIFT IV) in conjunction with USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI). The goal of this project  is to provide OTI  with the means to support U.S. foreign policy objectives by helping local partners advance peace and democracy in priority countries in transition. **Please note: This is a local position. Only Lebanese citizens are eligible to apply.** Position Summary:The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for the monitoring grant implementation and evaluating grant impact as necessary. Responsibilities: Participate in the project’s “learning by doing” M&E methodology by supporting the program staff throughout the activity cycle (design, implementation, monitoring, and close-out). Monitor and evaluate the immediate effects, approaches, and strategy of project activities. Provide ongoing context and political analysis and make recommendations to adapt programming to better respond to the context as needed. Participate in strategic reviews and rolling assessments as required by the COP. Conduct rapid reporting of program status and impact, including writing success stories. Coordinate outreach activities for the project, such as media events, project publicity, social media, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required at minimum. At least one years’ work experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably on development projects.  Strong English written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel country-wide to project activity locations. Proven ability to work effectively as a team member. Experience organizing outreach events and social media campaigns preferred.   Fluency in English either Arabic or French required.
