Head Of Operations

The CRS office in Lebanon is currently looking for a Head of Operations (HoOps) who will provide leadership and coordination to the Finance, Administration and HR teams in ensuring compliance with donors’ and internal policies and procedure, managing risk, increasing efficiency and providing management quality support to partners in Lebanon and other countries of the region. As a member of the Country Program’s Senior Management Team, the HoOps will contribute to major strategic decisions and work to ensure appropriate collaboration between the support and programming departments. The HoOps will work closely with the regional and agency-wide Operations community to develop and implement adequate standard processes. The HoOps: (1) promotes stewardship of resources; (2) ensures principled compliance; (3) proactively manages risk; (4) leads operational improvements. Specific requirements: Lebanese citizenship; Excellent English and Arabic, including writing (French is a plus); Availability to travel abroad up to 20% of the working time; Minimum 5 years of past experience, with exposure to the NGO / humanitarian field; Knowledge of and experience on finance.
