Mental Health Officer - Beirut

Tasks& Responsibilities:   The mental health officer works closely on all tasks and responsibilities with the Mental Health Field Manager. This position is office based with planned regular visits to the field. The responsibility is to provide administrative support to the program and to ensure that department operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. Coordinate with program assistants to address the needs of case management teams on the fields and follow up on all related issues; Ensure that all activities are implemented in line with the program’s budget and indicators; Prepare monthly budget projections that will be reviewed by the field manager and approved by the MH coordinator; Keep track of all budget spending and prepare forecast of budgets for the entire duration of the programs; Coordinate with logistics and program assistants on budget spending on field levels and that area managers are aware of the spending progress keeping track and records of such meetings and communication; Follow up with logistics on delivery timing of program material and keep updated inventory of MH material; Coordinate with logistics and warehouse management on distribution of program material to the fields, specify locations of distribution, quantities to be delivered, means of transportation and coordination with area managers; Ensure that all relevant M&E sheets are prepared for trainings, awareness raising sessions, activities and so on; Compiling results analysis and other statistical tasks if required for reporting or MH studies Maintain an efficient office filing management system related to monitoring, evaluation and reporting on MH activities as well as programs; Assist with financial monitoring and HR duties where required by the MH dept. Attend MH- MOPH/MHPSS taskforce meetings  and write the minutes; Other tasks as required by the Mental Health Field Manager;       Reporting: Reports directly on all tasks and responsibilities to the Mental Health Field Manager Providing timely updates as required;
