Mmu Assistant - Arsal

Functions and responsibilities Act as IMC focal point for the mobile medical unit, building key relationships with relevant stakeholders including with the community, community leaders, and other NGOs in the area, etc. Work closely with HO to prepare the weekly MMU schedule based on coordination with other actors and needs of the community. Alter schedule as necessary to meet emergency needs – such as response to potential outbreaks and influxes, and ensure MMU is fully informed of all changes. Collect all necessary documentation for MMU consultations prepared by the MMU staff, utilizing IMC formats and requirements, ensuring completeness and appropriateness of data. Provide full weekly reports, as well as regular updates provided to the HO concerning needs, challenges and achievements. Monitor and supervise all activities implemented by the MMU.  Rapidly inform supervisors of any needs or challenges within the MMU and/or community.  In coordination with the IMC area pharmacist, coordinate and monitor all the supplies and pharmaceutical donations to the designated MMU.  Process all relevant documentation according to protocols and requirements of the IMC logistics department. Collect and analyze weekly consumption reports prepared by the MMU staff on all medications donated. Monitor stocks and anticipate needs for timely procurements. Conduct assessments based on need and make suggestions to supervisors and management for potential expansion and/or new activities Support the payment process by  ensuring documentation is collected in a timely manner Complete any other activities related to the MMU and/or International Medical Corps’ activities as necessary Adhere to all of IMC’s policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct and SOPs
