Sponsorship Communication Officer

I.     Programme requirements Support the process of creating a new sponsorship experience that will establish closer connection among sponsors and children and their communities, through mainstreaming Sponsorship 2.0 tools.   b. Implement innovation ideas and concepts that being developed and tested by Partnership, towards redefining the child sponsorship experience between children and sponsors.   Review, monitor the sponsorship new social media initiatives of the ADPs and provide recommendation to the assigned areas.          d. Increase child expression and participation in social media and other sponsorship future initiatives, after building children’s capacities and skills in this regard, while making sure to protect children and keeping them safe online, through the cooperation with Advocacy, Communications and Protection departments.     e. Understand, identify and manage potential risks and benefits of social media engagement. II.    Capacity Building & Coordination a. Increase the visibility and exposure of sponsorship achievements in Lebanon by producing materials highlighting the impact on children’s lives and wellbeing such as photos, stories, newsletter, videos, etc, to be sent internally to the global center.   b. Build the skills of sponsorship field coordinators in communicating with  local communities and children, after training them on the messaging about World Vision sponsorship as well as the different features of Sponsorship 2.0 as stated above in the purpose of the position    Organize activities and training sessions for children and local communities on social media, basic photography, writing and videography in order the raise the communities’ voice and empower them to amplify their voices   Create training plans and provide a capacity building to Sponsorship staff, with up-to-date learning modules, by using tools being created by Global Center to help staff empowerment for effective storytelling   Lift communities and children’s voices of, through engaging families and local communities’ partners   To provide support to the sponsorship team in the production of promotional materials such as newsletter, designing and printing sponsorship materials according to World Vision branding standards.    Train Children and families to understand, identify, recognize report and manage, potential risks and benefits of social media and digital technology and acceptable/inappropriate behavior and communications and report unacceptable behavior and communications.   Use sponsorship 2.0  tools provided to better understand what child images and information may or may not be publicly shared   Equip staff, children and communities in capturing field content with a child protection lens, including training implementation   Coordinate and liaise with Sponsorship programme specialist , Officers and facilitators   III.Quality and timeliness of digital submission To process digital material on related system as per sponsorship requirements and/ develop quality photo and video material for sponsorship national office and partnership usage Ensure the sponsorship quality standards are met with respect – child data, child greeting video, photos, activities and child protection Support ADPs sponsorship staff in ensuring adherence to policies, protocols and standards related to sponsorship 2.0     Ensure children who are primary subjects of text, photo and/or video resource gathering by WV staff has signed consent form Ensure children are portrayed with dignity and not as helpless victims. Ensure that personal child information that is captured stored or sent through electronic, online or mobile devices is password protected. Ensure that materials posted on social media or digital technology does not contain a child’s family name, sponsorship ID number, or child’s personal location or address. Coordinate closely with Communications team on Social Media, to make sure One Voice is being conveyed to the external public       IV.  SUBMIT MONTHLY REPORTS TO THE SPONSORSHIP MANAGER Submit monthly administrative and ADP sponsorship performance reports to the sponsorship manager       VI.  KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT       a. Document learning at various levels (NO ADP Community)       b. Compile all publications chronologically and by theme        c. Compile all tools contextualized
