DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dkAbout the jobThe GBV caseworker will be responsible for providing direct supervision for psychosocial support and case management to vulnerable women and girls and GBV survivors. Duties• Carry out daily case management visits with individuals or families referred to DRC for case management services.• Set up and train the women’s committees in the community centres identified by DRC. • Identify opportunities for awareness raising – whether it at a community centre or other safe space  and plan the sessions, this can include sessions with children or children and caregivers.• Organise focus group discussions or other collection of relevant data when needed.• Participate in protection related assessments, trainings and meetings as instructed by the supervisor About you To be successful in this role you must have Bachelor in Social work, Counseling, psychology or other related field; 3 to 4 years of experience in counselling survivors of gender-based violence or vulnerable women and girls; Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel).  Ideally you will also have Flexibility in working overtime when needed; Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel); We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs.
