Registration Assistant (Receptionist) - G4 - Hr276 - Mountlebanon

 Counsel asylum-seekers and refugees on UNHCR Beirut policies and procedures; Identify persons with special needs and appropriately channel their cases; Provide asylum-seekers and refugees with information regarding their cases; Report security threats and incidents to security guards and security unit; Manage flow of documents in and out of the office, including preparing cases for interview, and providing persons of concern with appropriate documentation Deliver protection-related information, including RSD decisions, to persons of concern Ensure all cases are referred to proper functional units for action Schedule protection appointments (registration, resettlement, etc.) based on established scheduling criteria, and taking specific protection needs into account Coordinate the communication between different UNHCR offices in the country and region for onward movement and multiple registration Ensure planning for interview rooms reflects the needs of all units, missions Ensure statistical reports on reception and scheduling activities are sent in a timely manner

2.4 ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Define the educational background, the relevant job experience and the language(s) that are essential to perform the work of the position.
 Two year of relevant professional experience
 Fluency in Arabic and good English language skills.
 Bachelor Degree
 Proficiency with MS Office
(In offices where the working language is not English, excellent knowledge of working language of duty station and working knowledge of English.)
