Cisp - Deputy Country Representative

CISP Lebanon  is seeking to recruit a Full time Staff to be based in Marjaayoun/Beirut for the following  position of: Deputy Country Representative   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop project proposals designs in alignment with donor requirements. Develop reports as per donor requirements in consultation with Project Managers, Country Administrator and Country Representative. Regularly coordinate with sectors specialists, Project Managers and Country Representative for proposal development and reporting. Attend sector meetings and collect information to inform Country Representative. Support capacity buildings of project level staff on donor requirements. Train staff, when needed, on the different  donor requirements. Planning coordination, management and monitoring of the Project’s activities in close coordination with CISP Project Managers and Country Representative. Contacts with local partners and institutions involved in the implementation of the project and arranging of needed agreements with them. Elaboration of documents related to the implementation of the Project in close coordination with CISP Project Managers and Country Representative: Activities plans Narrative and financial Reports. Request of variations – if needed – to be approved by donor. Request of No Cost Extension Tender documents, offers requests and any other documents related to the execution of civil works and/or supplies foreseen in the Project Management of financial resources of the project in close coordination with the CISP Administrator and Country Representative. Definition and/or application of general and specific criteria about CISP office functioning, according to indications from CISP Country Representative among which: a) use of vehicles and other CISP office goods and equipment; b) adopting needed security measures for the  CISP staff; c) management of projects documents files and records and contracts. Follow up on security measures in close coordination with CISP Country Representative.   Minimum Requirements: University Bachelor degree in a field related to community development work; Proficiency in Arabic  and English and ability to communicate and draft reports;  Minimum  five years of relevant professional experience, preferably in humanitarian activities and/or development activities with Non-Governmental Organizations; Excellent communication skills; Ability to work under pressure and to set-up priorities; Proficiency in Computer application (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook); Ability to work with teams.
