 Develop and implement a communications strategy and work plan targeting displaced Syrians, host Lebanese communities and local media. Develop the communication component of outreach activities targeting displaced Syrians (DS) and Lebanese communities. Develop key messages for all communications by target audience liaising with relevant stakeholders and partners Coordinate media relations and produce public information material. Duties include drafting press releases; produce social media material, organizing press conferences and other media events, coordinating interviews, monitoring media coverage in close collaboration with the PHC director and the Director General at the MoPH and UNHCR communications section. Ensure donor (EU) visibility in local media, and all outreach activities targeting Lebanese and displaced Syrian populations. Identify and prioritize critical PHC objectives, products and activities that can achieve higher visibility regarding provision of services to DS through media support. Establish partnerships with key local media for the visibility of the project and liaise with partners’ communications department and their media networks. Coordinate the development and dissemination of PHC messages, advocacy tools and other products, including: Outreach activities for dissemination of PHC messages. Production of communication and promotional material. Management and development of the PHC website and newsletter and related on‐line tools. Assist in developing PHC’s internal knowledge base. Monitor and report results and impacts of PHC communications activities. Perform other duties as required.

 Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences or communication-related subjects Minimum 5 years job experience relevant to the function (communication experience an asset).
 Excellent communication, written and oral skills in English and Arabic.
 Computer skills.
 Very good knowledge of national Lebanese media is essential and knowledge of local institutions and national health system an asset.
 Good coordination and liaison skills.
 Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
