We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who can Assist and supervise all community support projects activities in Tripoli. Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dkDuties• Raise awareness about the CSP initiative and mobilizing communities actors to submit proposals• Once projects are approved, supply resources (procure and deliver materials) and support applicants in implementing projects• Inform communities of project value—both monetary and social impact--and provide regular updates on all expenditure on projects to DRC  • Create work plans (daily and weekly) and report updates on progress of all projects on a regular basis and a final monitoring report upon completion;• Monitor project implementation on a regular basis and participate in periodic reviews of the program, providing support where needed; • Evaluate performance and quality of interventions and provide constant feedbacks;  • Take responsibility of data entry for all the documents. About youTo be successful in this role you must have a High School Diploma with minimum 2 years experience in similar field.Ideally you will also have Experience with NGO and Experience in development projects or community mobilization We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract until the end of June, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from 11-4-2014 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
