Social Worker

Position Duties and Responsibilities: Introducing the Center to all beneficiaries approaching the center for the 1st time after having successfully finished their rehabilitation in order to manage their expectations. Identifying vulnerable cases and providing them with structured social intervention. Claiming for and/or attending coordination meetings with the head of the rehabilitation program and different specialists of the center to discuss specific cases. Setting appointments for each beneficiary according to the referral done by the head of the rehabilitation program. Checking regularly if beneficiaries are attending the center based on the program set for them. Attending and participating actively in regular meetings, seminars and trainings as indicated by the follow-up center manager, the head of the rehabilitation program or JCD administration. Drafting detailed reports for all cases describing their psychological conditions and the services provided for them by the center to address their needs. Liaising with, and making referrals to, other appropriate agencies for case management services when required. Participating in the administrative preparations of the meetings and trainings prepared by JCD administration. Participating in team meetings and case studies Promoting interaction between beneficiaries and between beneficiaries and the community. Strengthening the social ties between beneficiaries and between beneficiaries and their families. Developing the potential of beneficiaries and helping them improve their life quality and well being. Leading and facilitating social interaction among beneficiaries. Coordinating with supporting groups and organizations and writing proposals to get support. Planning for entertainment and educational activities that help the beneficiaries in developing their skills. Playing a facilitator role while listening to the beneficiaries needs and discussing these needs with them to be able to create interesting and well adapted projects. Providing leadership in promoting sustainable changes in service delivery and practice to improve the quality of social services. Engaging, assessing, intervening, and evaluating with beneficiaries. Functioning as part of the Rehabilitation and Follow-up team.
