DRC Background The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental and non-profit organization, founded in 1956, that works in more than 30 countries around the world. DRC has been operating in Lebanon since 2004, working with Palestinian and Iraqi refugees, as well as Lebanese communities affected by the war in 2006. DRC is committed to basic humanitarian principles; including impartiality and neutrality, and offers the highest standards of accountability to the people it serves. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.   The Admin and HR Officer supports the office in Tyre with both ad hoc and continuous tasks, constantly coordinates with line managers and relevant colleagues:   General Responsibility: Organise the daily/weekly/monthly Administration and HR plan, in coordination with the HoO and the support of the Admin and Finance Assistant   Specific Responsibilities: Administration To proactively identify broader issues of Admin weakness/non-compliance to DRC policies and guidelines and report them to Head of Admin andHoO Supervising general administration and office management of the office Maintain admin files and contractsin soft and hard copies, as per DRC guidelines (rent, services, …) Responsible of all hotel and venues reservations related to meetings, events, and accommodation requested To follow up on all related guesthouse issues in Tyre To attend the meetings organized by the donors on admin if any HR   Support the HoO in the recruitment process of vacant positions in coordination with Beirut office Provide monthly HR Information to Beirut office for payroll purpose Ensuring that HR filing system is kept in soft and hard copies Follow up on staff leaves and report weekly about leave balances Follow up on staff time sheets and donor allocation Collecting data for staff insurance and NSSF Managing use of items and other equipment among staff, keep records of staff equipment handed over to them by DRC Other Carrying out any other duties relevant to the nature of the job as requested by the Head of Office.   The Admin officer reports directly to the HoO and works in close collaboration and coordination with the Admin and Finance Assistant. The Admin Officer and the Finance Officer in turn line manages the Admin and Finance Assistant
