Emergency Distribution Team Leader (North) - 4 Positions

The Emergency Distribution Team Leader will be responsible for the supervision and follow up on a distribution team as part of the distribution project composed of 8,000 winterization kits for children aged 1 day to 14 years old in Informal Tented Settlements (ITS) in North Lebanon - T5 area (Tripoli, Batroun, Koura, Minyeh/Dinniyeh, Bcharri, Zgharta). The Emergency Distribution Project Team Leader will be based in Relief International's Office in Koura and is under the direct supervision of the Emergency Distribution Project Coordinator and reports directly to him   The tasks will include but not be limited to:    Main Responsibilities Supervises and follows up on the team staff. Makes sure that all field mapping activities are channeled to the project's Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant in an organized and confidential manner. Makes sure the project plan is implemented as agreed upon with the Project Coordinator in a timely manner. Refers to the Project Coordinator on any decision making or modifications that alters the initial implementation process. Conducts field visits to the designated project areas on a daily basis. Works closely with the beneficiary community to ensure maximum efficiency of intervention. Provides technical support to the team staff as needed. Updates the Project Coordinator on a daily basis and submits weekly reports. Accompanies the Project Coordinator and the Education Program Manager for field visits upon needed. Informs the Project Coordinator on any shortage of project materials and supplies. Represents the organization in a professional and respectful manner. Ensures project activities are in compliance with RI policies. Directly reports any security / field / office incidents to the Project Coordinator using relevant reporting procedures. Ensures that all project activities and implementation procedures are conducted in a manner free of corruption or questionable practices. Other related tasks as agreed upon with the Project Coordinator.   Position requirements: Previous experience in distribution interventions preferred. Previous experience in working with NGOs preferred. Experience in working with vulnerable communities. Dynamic and highly motivated. Understands refugee contexts and is compassionate while working with refugees. Team management skills preferred. Native Arabic speaker with a good level of communication in English. Good reporting skills preferred. Proven sound judgment and decision-making skills. Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
