Emergency Distribution Project Coordinator (North)

The Emergency Distribution Project Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and follow up on distribution activities composed of 8,000 winterization kits for children aged 1 day to 14 years old in Informal Tented Settlements (ITS) in North Lebanon - T5 area (Tripoli, Batroun, Koura, Minyeh/Dinniyeh, Bcharri, Zgharta). The Emergency Distribution Project Coordinator will be based in Relief International's Office in Koura and is under the direct supervision of the Education Program Manager and reports directly to him   The tasks will include but not be limited to: Main Responsibilities Supervises and follows up on the project staff. Builds on the emergency distribution plan for enhanced intervention. Makes sure that all field mapping activities are archived in an organized and confidential manner. Makes sure the project plan is implemented as agreed upon in a timely manner. Refers to the Education Program Manager on any decision making or modifications that alters the initial implementation process. Assists in the recruitment of additional project staff. Conducts field visits to the project areas on a daily basis. Works closely with the Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant to better track achieved results. Works closely with the beneficiary community to ensure maximum efficiency of intervention. Provides technical support to the project staff as needed. Updates the Education Program Manager on a daily basis and submits weekly reports. Prepares a final report entailing achievements and lessons learned aligned with the project objectives. Attends in-office and external meetings as requested by the Education PM. Accompanies the Education PM for field visits upon needed. Ensures the availability of supplies required for the project and informs the Education PM on any shortage of materials and supplies. Represents the organization in a professional and respectful manner. Ensures project implementation in compliance with RI policies. Directly reports any security / field / office incidents to the Education PM using relevant reporting procedures. Ensures that all project activities and implementation procedures are conducted in a manner free of corruption or questionable practices. Other related tasks as agreed upon with the Education PM.   Position requirements: Previous experience in distribution interventions. Previous experience in working with NGOs. Previous experience in project management. Experience in working with vulnerable communities. Dynamic and highly motivated with creative thinking and leadership attitude. Understands refugee contexts and is compassionate while working with refugees. Team management skills. Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English. Good reporting skills. Proven sound judgment and decision-making skills. Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
