Protection Field Officer (Senior Profile)

General objective Under the direct supervision of the CCCM Manager, the Senior Protection Field Officer is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of the activities but especially the objectives linked to protection, community mobilization, individual case referral, awareness session. He/she directly implement the software activities (update census, build trustful relation with the community, refer individual case and follow up on them, community mobilization, awareness session, gather information about all other actors intervene in the site…) with the help of beneficiaries, daily workers or volunteers.     Responsibilities and tasks  Activities implementation Implement all Protection program activities but mainly update census, build trustful relation with the community; identify, report and refer individual cases and follow up on them, community mobilization, awareness session, gather information about all other actors intervene in the site; Respect the design (activity chart) and required methodology of the works; Respect the principles of humanitarian protection and confidentiality; Follow the security rules to ensure security on-site; Provide technical guidance and follow up to Focal Points, daily workers, Community members and volunteers.       2. Monitoring & Guidance Monitor the works on a daily basis and provide guidance to all Field Officers and Field Workers. Manage and organize the community participation on-site.         3. Logistics & administration Contribute to the logistics and financial planning of daily intervention schedules. Ensure the follow-up and the proper use of materials and tools used during on-site works;         4. Communication & Follow up To be daily present on the differents ITS/CS and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information. To prepare information leaflets to be distributed on site To refer special cases which need individual attention and follow their progress with the different stakholders.          5. Reporting Report orally on the progress of Protection activities on a daily and weekly basis; Report immediately any delay, problem or other relevant information to the CCCM Manager   The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.
