Project:           Emergency WASH assistance for Syrian Refugees in South and North Lebanon Starting date:           01/03/2014 Duties: Water sample collection and water quality analysis: Organize, operate and maintain two (2) field water quality laboratories within CISP offices in North and South Lebanon, including current inventory of materials. Collect samples of water in North and South Lebanon according to the monthly schedule prepared by CISP and store them properly till the execution of the water quality analysis. Perform bacteriological, chemical and physical water quality analysis in the laboratories of CISP within 12 hours from the collection of the samples, according to the parameters defined by CISP and the WASH Working Group. Prepare bi-weekly reports on the results of water quality analysis. Present the results of water quality analysis to beneficiaries or to local, national or international partners, when needed. Develop and follow up a network of focal points within the area of intervention for water quality analysis. Guarantee a good coordination of activities, exchange of information and reporting with CISP Project Coordinators and with the others members of CISP staff.   Other specific information and prerequisites: The consultant must be independent for movements on the field all over North and South Lebanon for collection of water samples and from and to the CISP offices. The consultant must be independent in the use of a personal computer to enter, process and systematize data on water quality analysis and for the preparation of reports. The consultant must be independent for phone and e-mail communications.
